The Conference will feature our recommendations report on rural healthcare access, Closer to Home. The paper combines insights from your survey responses, with further stakeholder conversations and a deep dive into data. It creates a picture of Ontario’s rural healthcare and makes recommendations for investments and approaches that will make a difference.
Trains and Drains:
Work continues on ROMA’s application for intervener status on a case involving federally regulated railways and the Ontario Drainage Act. Please join us at the for a session on this topic at the conference to learn how ROMA is supporting communities impacted by railways not paying their fair share for drainage infrastructure. This issue has broad implications.
Teeny Tiny Summits:
Don’t forget to register for the next Teeny Tiny Summit, January 10 at 10 a.m. This is a free, virtual learning session that will focus on Community Economic Development 101. ROMA has been proud to sponsor these learning opportunities since 2016 in cooperation with OMAFRA.
